HCMC. Got up a little too late after listening to the major rock anthems blasting from the bar last night. Eventually when we got up, we switched rooms to a cheapy cheap one which has about 4cm of floor space but it'll do! After we went for a major long walk around the city and found a hard rock cafe and because i've never been to one Camille said we had to go...It was quite cool, the vibe, the music, the photos of all the rockstars (BOB DYLAN <3) at least my first H.R.C experience was in some place awesome. Today has been a typically clumsy day for me...i got out the shower and made a puddle then slipped in my room...then i very nearly fell down the stairs in the hostel and then i actually did FALL ON MY BUM because i stepped in oil in the car park hahaha. Me and camille thought we would go to the Chi Chi tunnels today but we got up too late, so we're doing that tomorrow. Today we sort of just tried to keep ourselves busy. We went bowling and played in an arcade for a while coz we are super cool...gunna go to one of the fun as you like bars here in a bit, just recovering from our walk and cami has to do her 'resume'. Some of the things american people say really annoy me!! Like take nikki for example she constantly used the word 'obnoxious' and always incorrectly...ironic considering she was bordering on sometimes being the most obnoxious person on the planet. With all that said and done, these little annoyances are to be expected and it's exactly why i came travelling alone so i could ditch any knuckle-head such as priorly mentioned nikki. OH nearly forgot to say that we had another close encounter with a taxi driver today, again trying to take us for a couple of planks. Just jumped out paid him half what the meter said and walked the rest of the way, which luckily wasn't too bad anyways. Getting better at updating this! It helps that Cami brought a laptop with her :) peace out xxxxxxx
